Great Choice of Accommodation in Italy

TRENTINO-ALTO ADIGE, Trento , Riva del Garda

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. It is located in Northern Italy, about half-way between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan. Being easily accessible from the north via the Brenner Pass, the lake is a major tourist destination, including a number of picturesque villages along its shore. Riva del Garda, with its two harbors, sailing and windsurfing facilities, is the perfect spot for the most sportive ones. It is surrounded by lovely view of the lake, framed by the Alps in the distance. Sirmione, also known as “the pearl of Lake Garda”, is one of its most popular destinations in the Southern shore. The Roman poet Catullus had a villa here, and visitors can see a ruined Roman spa named the Grotte di Catullo. The sulfur springs at the tip of the peninsula have an excellent reputation. Its picturesque Scaliger castle dates from the 13th century. Gardaland, one of the most famous theme parks in Italy, is not far. Desenzano, with its beautiful large beaches, is the heart of night life, with its many discos and pubs. In the summertime its main squares are crowded all night by young and partying people, sitting in the lovely open-air cafés or tasting the delicious ice-cream of a local gelateria.
