San Felice Circeo is a medieval village located near the mountain named Circeo that is part of a National Park. The Templar Castle and the Museum is worth a visit. This location makes it one of the most enchanting sites to visit around Rome. That’s why Giorgio Armani, Anna Fendi , Alberto Moravia and Franco Zeffirelli chose this location to build their Villas on the beach. The coast has sand dunes on one side and rocks on the other side. The National Park is about 8 square kilometers and there are plenty of trekking and bicycle routes. At the renovated tourist harbor you can rent a boat to reach the pre-historical Blue Caves or take a 40 minutes trip to the wonderful island of Ponza, Palamarola or Ventotene a beautiful small romantic village on the sea, beloved by snorkelers and divers.Or you can go to Terracina (the Jupiter Temple and the Roman remains), the medieval village of Fossanova and its abbey, the Renaissance garden of Ninfa and the cute villages of Norma, Sperlonga and Gaeta.
