This country house has been restored with great care and is located in a quiet position in the countryside south of Lucca, in the small village of San Giusto di Compito, famous for its natural spring waters. A very nice area, characterized by a hilly landscape of olive groves and pine forest: it is perfect for all those who loves walking in natural country side, going for bike rides (we are in a mountain bike ring) or simply spending some time in the open air. The area has a lot to offer: in the surroundings you can visit the historical villas among which the Villa Reale, the one where Napoleon’s sister Elisa Bonaparte used to live. The major art towns in Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence and the beautiful beaches and fashioning clubs of the Versilia coast are easy to reach by car. For sport lovers the Golf Club in Montecatini is only a 15 minutes’ drive away. During the summer there are plenty of events: classical concerts dedicated to Puccini, pop and rock concerts during the Summer Festival. It is worth mentioning that the surroundings of the house (known as “compitese” area) is very famous for the cultivation of camellias: each year in March an important exhibition dedicated to this beautiful flower is held in this area. Rare specimens are on display and it is also possible to visit the gardens within the village. Tennis 2 km , Grocery 700 m , Restaurant 700 m , Lucca 7 km , Sea 30 km .
