We start at the farmhouse Podere Palazzone (370 m), with view over Volterra and Pomarance, and ride to Tuscany's biggest Natural Reserve „Berignone Forest“. Within the Forest, where the river Cecina forms a narrow canyon, you may enjoy horseback-swimming in the clear waters of the hollows at the "Masso delle Fanciulle" - an indescribable emotion. Finally, at the light of a breathtaking sunset, we ride back to the stud and farmhouse Podere Palazzone at Pomarance.

Prices include bed clothes, towels, water, electricity, heating and final cleaning. Accommodation for children up to including three years is free of charge; children up to the age of including 12 years benefit from a 50% discount in the room with their parents.
Real outdoor-freaks may prefer staying on the nearby farm-camping (agricampeggio) in the shadow of olive, pine and holm trees, with a spectacular view of Volterra and the "terre di Siena".
Start your day at the neighing of a horse (sorry, we have no cock), do some horse riding in manège and enjoy horse trekking through the Natural Park of Berignone Forest.
